Our Team Coordinator studied English Translation at university, and she fondly remembers it, even though it's not strictly related to her career path.
Her beginnings in the tech world were at a logistics software company based in his hometown, Rosario. She started out doing data entry tasks, but her curiosity pushed her to think outside the box , raise her voice, and climb the ladder, even leading teams!
"I don't like to stick to one thing. I started suggesting improvements and made myself known." account. Over the course of her 10 years at the company, she changed roles, trained, and adapted. When she felt ready for a change, but wasn't strictly looking for it, Nybble's proposal came along.
“I started at Nybble on June 21, 2022, I remember it clearly.” The proposal was for a position Team Coordinator . “I didn't really know what a Team Coordinator was,” she recalls. But something caught her attention: the ability to support people. “ It's a role that not all consulting firms have. It's someone who is there for and by the teams. And that makes the difference.”
That was the starting point of a journey that led her to encounter challenges, diverse teams, and many learning opportunities. In one of her first projects, she worked with a client whose team included many members.
There, in addition to supporting the technical team, he began to get involved in feedback, retention, and culture issues. “It was a difficult client, so “We worked closely with key managers to identify opportunities for improvement ,” she recalls. “I trained myself to identify people who fit Nybble’s values and the project’s objectives.”
Along the way, she also found role models. “Meli - Melisa Glessi , Team Augmentation Lead at Nybble - was a very important guide . Without her, I don't know if I would have made it. She helped me a lot."
Over time, her role began to change. Another project came along, with new needs and more room for growth: “That's when I started to develop more as a Project Manager. Not per se, but I started to apply a lot of things I knew from theory, such as risk management, action plans, project plans, processes, and more.”
And something else: her ability to lead. “At first, I didn't fully understand that my role was leadership. Once I did, I started reading, searching, and applying tips. I didn't want to be 'the one who manages.' I wanted to be able to truly lead."
In this process, the support of Joaquín Manuel Moreno , Software Engineering Manager at Nybble. ''He helped with his mentorship, experience, and by giving me space and autonomy , which really boosted my self-confidence,” says Julie.
We're proud to find professionals like her, who seek out resources for training, who get involved, and who take action. They'll always have our support in doing so.
She also discovered that certain skills he already had could be key tools. “Active listening was what helped me the most. I refined all the leadership skills. Today I give feedback with more confidence, supporting each person from a human perspective and from the facts.”
Behind every title and every role are people with unique abilities. When they develop freely, but also with support and purpose, they have the power to transform realities.
Julie's journey is proof that it's worth taking the plunge. Exploring, testing, learning, and discovering is not only part of professional growth, but also of personal evolution . “I evolved a lot throughout this journey. And it continues to be a wonderful experience, because I learn every day.”
Beyond the projects, tools, and methodologies, Julie highlights Nybble's culture. "Everything they said they were, they are. It's not just something you say; it's something you live. I always felt super comfortable, and everything I needed, I had."
The concept of living culture is something that is built collectively, every day. That it works is not magic, but the result of the desire and commitment of all nybblers to create that collaborative and close workspace in which they want to develop.
“I don’t want new people to sit in front of the computer and just code. There's a lot to do, and I want you to be a part of it ,” explains our Spotlight Series of the month protagonist. “Last year, for Halloween, I created a virtual escape room using AI. I gathered the whole team and we did it together. It was a wonderful experience.” That initiative wasn't just a creative idea; it was also a declaration of purpose.
As she herself demonstrates, there are always ways to connect, even when the other person isn't there. In a world that often fosters individualism, minds that challenge it can use technology to connect.
At Nybble, we value those curious spirits who aren't content with the flow of the established order, who ask themselves how things can be done better, where else they can unleash their talent. That's how you become remarkable.
We're so grateful to Julie for sharing her story with us and for choosing us every day for the past three years. We're glad she appreciates Nybble as much as Nybble appreciates her.
Let's continue creating the future together!
