After almost four years at Nybble, Mati is currently facing a new challenge as a Functional Analyst in the Business Solutions team.
Before entering the world of software, he followed a very different path. He began studying engineering as soon as he finished high school. However, the pace of the program didn't quite suit him. This led him, two years later, to decide to change his academic path.
That turning point marked the beginning of a new academic journey: the University Technical Degree in Programming at the National Technological University. There, he encountered software development, databases, and a much broader perspective on technology. “That’s when I started to like it a little more,” he recalls happily.
Meanwhile, Mati's career took off. He worked for seven years at an engineering company specializing in water treatment. It was a stable, yet highly structured environment. That's what prompted him to look for something different.
The turning point came quite casually, in a meeting with the director of our Business Solutions unit, Gabriel Mammoli “I met Gabi at a meeting, and he told me 'bring me a resume',” he recalls.
At that time, Mati knew nothing about the type of solutions Nybble worked on. But curiosity drove him: he investigated, became interested, and decided to take the plunge.
He was offered a position at Nybble in IT Support, a far cry from his professional experience at the time. But the desire for change that had brought him there gave him the necessary push to embark on this new challenge.
The first thing she discovered was that the change wouldn't just be in the industry and the tasks, but also in the culture. “I learned a lot about agile methodologies and Scrum, something totally disruptive to the vertical model I came from. Culture is fundamental for me. I really enjoy teamwork and being able to learn what goes into each of my colleagues' work,” she explains.
At Nybble, she found a space where exchange, collaboration, and constant learning are part of everyday life. A place where tasks aren't just completed, but where People have a voice . “I was able to let go of the minute-by-minute grind, start making decisions, and be heard,” he says happily.
Another key learning came through the client relationship. In her support role, Mati had direct contact with end users, something that proved crucial to her growth. “I enjoyed being able to interact with people and bring projects to life, humanize work.”
The strong relationship with the client and the team laid the foundation for their next step. Over time, the project grew, as did the team's needs. And that's when a new opportunity arose: to take on the role of Functional Analyst.
Today, already in this new challenge, Mati is in the midst of a learning process. Everything is new, intense, and challenging, but also motivating. “I like it. I know new learning opportunities are coming. I'm going to have to put a lot of myself into it.”
Far from being complacent, his sights remain set on the future. The desire to explore new avenues continues to be his driving force. “I want to keep moving forward, learn more, and better understand the entire software development lifecycle.”
Mati's story is that of someone who dared to change, who knew how to take advantage of every stage of the journey, and who continues to grow today. And that's not something you experience alone; it requires... Support and trust ; people who believe in people. Only in this way does growth cease to be a promise and become a real process.
