In this edition, we talk with Micaela Pedri Our Marketing Coordinator, and we discovered a story marked by the pursuit of new challenges, a passion for learning, and an understanding of the impact of corporate communication on people. Her curiosity and determination have shaped a professional path that combines creativity and strategic thinking.

Curiosity leads the way

It all started in Villa María, Córdoba. Mica knew she wanted to work in communications. As a teenager, she dreamed of jobs that involved languages, books, and travel. For a while, she considered International Relations or even working for airlines.

Finally, she found her way in the Public Relations , where he discovered that many of his points of interest could coexist: institutional communication, processes, and the construction of impactful messages.

His first job was at a transportation and logistics company. There, almost without planning it, he launched the organization's digital communication. "Facebook was just starting out at that time, and Facebook didn't have a business profile. It didn't exist yet. There was a website, YouTube, and not much else," she recalls. That was his first introduction to marketing and corporate communication from the inside.

Then came new professional challenges: freelance work, a stint at an audiovisual production company and, later, joining a company where he came to lead six accounts.

Meanwhile, her academic path continued to grow: she completed certifications, continued studying, and progressed with her bachelor's degree, true to the curiosity that always drives her. "I'm a bit of a nerd; I don't know if I like studying, but I do love learning," she admits.

When a personal quest becomes a career change

By 2021, Mica felt she needed a change. She was looking for a different way of working, a different pace, more flexible and modern cultures, and a model that embraced agile methodologies and remote work. Her interest in the software industry was growing, and a diploma in UX/UI was the path she chose to delve deeper into what was captivating her.

What's interesting is how the story with Nybble began: at a family event, a casual conversation ended up revealing that someone close to her worked remotely and was very comfortable with that lifestyle. That simple conversation sparked an action plan in Mica that would open her next professional chapter.

What followed was pure investigative instinct: she looked up the person mentioned in the conversation on LinkedIn and discovered they worked at Nybble. Intrigued by what she'd heard and what she could see on the company's digital channels, she submitted her CV through their contact website.

Months later, she was contacted by our People department, which initiated the interview and onboarding process. In July 2022, she began her journey as the first person 100% dedicated to Marketing within the company.

The challenge of building an area

Mica faced a huge challenge. When she started, there was no Marketing department. Tasks were divided among people from different areas, and there was no cohesion between them. But with effort, purpose, and perseverance, things started to fall into place.

She transformed the scattered needs into an action plan, and thus the area was established as such. Her vision was accompanied by the growth of the team.

Today there are five established roles and a clear strategy.

Remote leadership, a challenge that transformed the way they work

Although she already had experience leading small areas in previous jobs, at Nybble she faced a completely different context: leading 100% remotely, with people even living in other countries.

She faced it with a mix of learning, company support and his own style: approachable, clear and very focused on building trust.

For Mica, the key to remote leadership is simple, yet powerful: having clear goals and trust the team .

“Micromanagement is the worst enemy when you lead remotely. You need to build a space where people can develop their potential but also raise their hand, say what they feel, and express if something isn't working.” reflect .

That philosophy shaped his way of supporting his colleagues, defining clear dynamics, projecting shared objectives, and always maintaining a healthy balance between the professional and the human.

The passion for learning is always present.

True to her eternal curiosity, Mica continued her education: she never stopped taking small courses and training sessions.

To continue growing in the field of formal education, some time after completing her Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, she enrolled in a Master's Degree in Communication at the National University of Lomas de Zamora. This year he obtained the degree of Specialist in Communications Management , and is preparing to complete her Master's thesis.

Furthermore, she is a member of the Professional Council of Public Relations, where she spearheaded and developed “Cafecito PR” within the Middle Management Committee, an internal networking activity that is now one of the most anticipated by members. It's a project that, while not part of her daily work, fills her with immense pride. “Having taken that initiative and seeing it grow makes me very proud ,” she says.

Looking ahead

With a diverse career path, Mica envisions her future staying close to her professional roots: institutional communication. She wants to continue exploring this space where ideas take shape with purpose, where messages build culture, and where strategy coexists with creativity.

Her journey fills us with pride because she not only transforms Nybble through her vision and approach, but also demonstrates how Nybble has transformed her. Her story reflects that genuine exchange where a person grows with the company and the company grows with the person. We are delighted to be part of that journey and to accompany the development of such a remarkable professional.

Thank you, Mica, for your dedication, your tireless curiosity, and your ability to build with patience, vision, and commitment, all while maintaining warmth and approachability. We are inspired and proud of the way you lead, learn, and support the team; we are very fortunate to continue building together every day.
